C-RAN^®

C-RAN^® (CMC Networks^® Rapid Adaptive Network), consists of a series of next generation products and services developed to enable the workplace of tomorrow.

CMC Networks^® Global Network is been built on an AI-driven-WAN ecosystem of connected neural fibres making autonomous routing changes based on real-time upstream information avoiding congestions, detecting anomalies, isolating faults and taking corrective actions. The CMC Network will autonomously duplicate application traffic via multiple paths to meet high availability metrics when it detects packet loss or a failure of a circuit.

CMC Networks^® is so obsessed with 100% uptime, 100% session delivery that our operations teams use AI-driven support to meet our customer’s increased demands. Machine learning patterns will create heat maps of potential issues infusing an operations culture that is fixated not just on delivery of packets but of a user’s experience.

Cloud first (XaaS)

Cloud has brought a new elastic way of consuming IT services and adoption of cloud is exponential. However, network and security are the biggest barriers that enterprises are voicing against cloud services. CMC Networks^® “Cloud First” approach is built to address these concerns. Multi Cloud Connect (MCC) creates the building blocks for a secure, reliable, dedicated and private connection to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and other preferred cloud services. Customers are able to quickly and seamlessly connect cloud services to their Wide Area Network (WAN). CMC Networks^® is also one of only three Microsoft Azure Peering Services (MAPS) partners on the African continent. Microsoft states that it only uses MAPS partners that “…have direct, highly available, geo-redundant connections and optimized routing to Microsoft.”

Built with security at the core with zero-trust access, next generation firewall, web/content filtering, real-time threat intelligence and advanced threat protection CMC Networks^® Networks Global network provides security when and where it’s needed most and with the added pressure of an increased attack surface driven by work from home and edge computing, CMC Networks^® has built out its secure access platform to put any CIO’s at ease.

We pride ourselves in being the best in Africa, delivering services IN Africa, TO Africa and FROM Africa as our key focus but the CMC Global Network is more than just an African Network. The CMC Global Network connects Africa, the Middle East and beyond, with over 150 thousand kilometres of submarine cable systems in use which connects over 100 Service Locations across Africa and the Middle East as well as Key service locations in North America, UK, Europe and Asia-Pac on-ramp locations to the global CMC Networks^® backbone.
